I hand-build botanical sculptures and vessels in clay and paint colorful, expressionist landscapes and flora in oil. Immersion in other cultures has enriched my knowledge of how plants sustain us through food, medicine, and spirit. A self-taught artist and lifelong gardener, my works reflect my core belief that engagement with plants and trees deepens viewers’ connections with the splendor and rhythms of the natural world, and with each other.
