Artist Statement
I am an ink & watercolor artist who creates whimsical & sometimes thought-provoking art in a unique illustrative style. I live here in Olympia & I am often inspired by the beauty of the PNW.
Watercolor painting requires a build up of thin layers of color & a lot of patience offering me time to meditate on the themes behind my art: often personal growth or the beauty & irony of this world. I believe strongly in the accessibility of art, which influences both my storybook-like style as well as the types of reproductions I offer, often things that can be used in everyday life.
